For Christmas dinner, if indeed we are? We normally have turkey but I dunno if I will be eating much at the time so it might just be Col and the cats eating. I will freeze something for when I feel better if i still don't tho

Beef Wellington and a Chicken joint. It will probably be burnt because I'll be cooking it.

My son-in-law will be making raclette. I'm looking forward!

Don't know yet, not organising, but I expect there to be some turkey and some vegetarian equivalent. With an abundance of chestnuts and sprouts and mince pies.

Melted cheese over potatoes (usually) but I won't be eating the potatoes because carbs.

As a novice you've decided to take on beef wellington? Brave. It wasn't my choice, I haven't a clue what to do.

This is premade by the butcher. I believe I just put it in the oven and take it out when it's done.

Iceland do a beef wellington that looks good but i've not tried it. I'd not try to make one from scratch though

Not here in Marple, we've already tried. It was Pat's first choice.

I'm doing the traditional Jewish American christmas meal: Chinese. Take-out.
My guest and I are planning our "dim sum plus" Chinese feast today for pickup on Saturday.
A truer observance would be to eat in-restaurant, because then we could say that the only thing we made was reservations. But, Covid. We're checking in with our favorite outlet to assure that we don't get caught up in some kind of holiday rush that day. Our outlet is pretty popular.
Today is the run to the liquor store to stock up on whiskies for the samplings this week.
Axial tilt is the reason for the season!
