Take note that it claims to be the first of the winter season, an honor which is denied the Solstice. The Solstice is the epitome, not the beginning.

Not sure I understand that thought process.
But yes. I love Winter better than summer. For that matter early spring and fall are my favorite. I just don’t like anything over 70 Degrees F. Or below 10 degrees F really.

Or below 10 degrees F really. I can understand that. I'd shift myself ten degrees (Fahrenheit) warmer on both ends. Maybe twenty on the lower end.
