I first read this book when I was a teenager, and absolutely loved it. I remembered it again the other day, looked it up on Amazon and bought it for a penny. I'm halfway through now, and it's as good as I remember. Anyone else read it? I really think you'd love it, Jo. I'll send you a copy.

Am still readin and enjoying ... Julie, have you read That Hideous Strength and Till will have Face? (apologies for typs .. there is a huge lag between what I type and it showing on the screen which is pretty irritating)

I read all the Lewis Space Trilogy years and years ago and really loved them, but not Till We Have Faces. What's it about?

It's very very cool! Probably my most favourite Lewis novel. It's a retelling of the story of Psyche and Cupid.

I don't like reading from screens so I'll probably buy it. ETA: so what did you think of Prince Ombra? It supposed to be a young adults book but I think some of the stuff is a bit adult. I'd recommend it to my 17 year old but probably not my 15 year old, actually.

I finished this ages ago, been meaning to post my review but Col being here rather distracted me I did enjoy it and thanks again for sending it Juju! Interesting characters and storyline. I liked the German professor especially. I felt that it lost its way a little towards the end and became slightly predictable. I'd certainly recommend it though .. has anyone else read it?
