That won't do, by then we might have all found out first-hand!

That's certainly not how the Karma system works on here!

I've just looked up the schedule. Next Sunday evening it's "Judgement, Hell and a God of Love?" so I might have an answer before it's too late.

On this side of the Pond, in about 2 years we'll have 12/13/14. The rest of you all will never have that.

... because they don't understand about putting the number of the day before the number of the months - the poor things are so confused ....

I have taken to writing dates out as 2012-12-04 as computers are more likely to sort them properly and that's what all the serious standards do these day anyway. Either that, or I write 04/Dec/2012.

I always try to write the month in letters.

I always try to write the month in letters. Do you ever get any responses? Even a postcard, maybe?

I always try to write the month in letters. In the military we wrote out all our dates that way. So today would be 5 Dec 12. Unless we were doing a Julian date, in which case it would be 12342 (because it's a leap year, otherwise 5 Dec would be a 341 day).

Oh dear, I would find 12342 difficult to use in everyday life. I'm sure it would confuse most of my friends who wouldn't have a clue what it meant (and me too)

Jessops - the UK photographic specialists - are running a competition for photos verifiably taken at twelve minutes past noon on the day in question:
12.12.12.12.12!

Heh...
There was an article in the local rag about the mass of couples intending to marry on that day. The major reason for the popularity? The hubby is more likely to remember their anniversary.
As if.

Just sprinkle confetti in his shoes a few days beforehand.

Last year I went out to dinner with some friends on 11-11-11. There were three wedding parties at the restaurant at the same time we were there. I would imagine 12-12-12 will be worse, since it won't happen again until the year 2101.

Of course, I did realize today that dates like these are ones that we can all agree on!

A day when the world can come together in peace and for a wonderful moment not be at war about date conventions. *sniff*
