Has Krampus come and gone already this year?
Did I miss it?

Robot Santa is from Futurama. They have built an electronic version of Santa to do the job, but they set his standards too high and he invariably judges everyone as very naughty and goes on the rampage.

Or, go to Google, input 'Krampus' and pull up the images... Like here. Basically, he is the demonic travellling companion of Sinter Klaas. It is reputedly a tradition of the Alpine regions of Europe. Evidently, it is still robust in the environs around Austria, with young men dressing up around the time of Sinter Klaas' peregrinations. One St. Nick may have an entire small army of Krampus (Krampi?) to accompany him upon his rounds. I guess December 5 is the date associated with Sinter Klaas and Krampus.

He is too a politician. He tried to run for President in the 2007 South Carolina primary on both ballots, Republican and Democrat. Evidently, there was a campaign for the 2012 election, as well.

But none of it was serious. His 2012 "run" was really about creating a Super PAC to show the absurdity of how campaigns are getting their money in light of the Citizens United ruling.

Oh, I get your drift, all right, but who says satire isn't serious?
