Mari - no clear idea why the sale collapsed, the legal side was going well, all the surveys done then yesterday afternoon they went into the agent's office and said that they had changed their minds ... even after the money they had spent on the professional fees ... odd and frustrating.
Anybody want to buy a presbytery? One careful owner. Excellent but safe view of Mt. Doom.

I overslept today. I don't even remember switching off the alarm.

I thought I had slept well the past couple of nights, but I feel shattered this morning. And came into work late (doing some work online from home first).

Thingy, still looking at options but most likely we'll ship it. There is a service which costs around 250 euro to ship a cubic square meter which is plenty for us I think. Only thing I need to look into there is the cost of getting it picked up at the port which they estimate is generally around 75 euro. We'll see.

You should ask Fr G that. But I don't plan on taking it with me. It can stay in England.

Have more than a cubic metre of my son's belongings waiting for him when he returns to the UK.

Yes, but ten years ago he predicted that he would only stay for three to five years, so who knows?

I said 2-3 years, maximum 5. Going to be 6 in the end.

956 351 and how many cubic metres do you think Fr G's presbytery is? Interesting question, I am not sure ... maybe about 400? Plus the workshop, garage, potting shed, other shed etc. Hmmmmmmmm ... probable answer would be the 'best part of quite a bit'. 956 345

956 341 I did notice. Today I got very very wet. Got caught in one of those showers RB mentioned on the previous page. One minute it was dripping a bit, the next it was raining cats and dogs. And I bought a floor.

Saw that status update. Was going to say pretty much the same thing happened to us. Went to look and get comparisons and came back with a floor bought.

956 337 Well, I had been to a shop before and done some comparisons online, so I knew they were cheap, but you never know if you're going to find something you like.

Good things floors ... stop the bottoms of the walls sliding together ...
This lunchtime's funeral is at a crematorium where I have not officiated before ... Google Maps asked me if I would like to be the first to review it ... cue: a series of tasteless jokes from some people no doubt. My database tells me that this is Funeral #144 in eight years in the parish.

We went for a wonderful walk today through a nice forest and lovely heath. Gorgeous, must go and do that one again before we leave. This time with a camera so I can take pics.

956 328 If it turns out we're one person, then Miisa and Moose (Moosa?) will have something to say about it! I'm not sure I like the tide of being me turning into an insult!
