Has anyone ever had a dachshunds for a pet. When they gets mad at me they will glare at you and expect in a day or two that they will pee in your shoe or at the foot of your bed. Took chance to the vet to get his shots and boy he didn't like me for a good 24 hours. He is house trained so peeing on things is not something he does but boy did he do it. At my Mother-in-laws foot of her bed. Next to my favorite chair that I sit in. And under my office chair. A friend of mine told me that what they do to prove to you that they are dissatisfied as this breed has a great memory and remembers everything that is done to them.

Nothing to do with daschunds, king edmund, but is your username based off King Edmund from Narnia?

I am the definition of that; he was always my favourite character in the novels as he was very complex and had the best character arc. And then the actor who played him in the three Narnia films is the epitome of male handsomeness and perfection (and he is still, rather sadly, my main crush) . But I am also a fan of the Narnia series; I like the message and the way in which it's accessible to children. Certainly they were some of my favourite books when I was a child. Many a day in my childhood was spend rooting through the clothes in my wardrobe in a futile attempt to find Narnia. But as children's book series go, it's one of my favourites

I also find his life story interesting; how he was brought up religious and then became an atheist and then became Christian again after sending God's presence

Till We Have Faces is wonderful - it's a reworking of the myth of Cupid and Psyche but beautifully done and one of my favourite books of all time.

Yes Kate. Edmund is one of my favorites as well. But I was originally wanting King Peter on the CS Lewis defunct site. But Pete already was taken andHe was from Australia.
FIFTEEN YEARS ago! Omg. Has it been that long? No moose. I don't mind at all. I never do
Kate my number of posts on here looks low but if you add the old EF site posts to this I'd be around 10,000. So definitely not new here.

*makes note to read more CS Lewis and never adopt a dachshund* Oh boy have I missed you. How's the weather north me? They are a bucket of fun and they have such expressive faces. It's almost like the a half breed to a cat. Or they have the personality of one, but in a dogs body.

Well I'll remember that if I ever go dog hunting. Great name for a dog breed though - dachshunds or however you spell it.

I have no idea how to spell dachshund. But that's why my phone has auto correct. Of course I have got myself into a sticky situation or two because of that.

The ground is soggy, but the sun is shining, and it's finally cool enough for sweatshirts!

I was think that today. I wore a coat for the first time. You remember last winter. It was a lot more snow than the previous winters. My Aunt in Joplin is not looking forward to this winter.
