A young singer of my acquaintance called Lucy Mair is hoping to bring out her first CD in the New Year. However in order to make this happen she needs a minimum number of pledges to buy the finished CD. if you like Classical Music would you please consider pledging £10 to buy this CD? If you would like to learn more about Lucy please see:- www.pledgemusic.com/projects/lucymair?utm_source=twitter

Thanks Jo. I am just generally spreading the word as much as I can on Lucy's behalf. The pledges began well but then dried up and time is running out. Her music is not everybody's cup of tea but she is really good.

At our recent Choral Society concert she sang Hear My Prayer (Oh for the wings of a dove) and I Know That My Redeemer Liveth.

I agree with this. I do listen to classical music, but this is right on the edge of what I would listen to. If she needs a last few to get her over the line, I may get it to help, but I'm not otherwise sure it'd get listened to much by me.

Possibly for her first CD she should have aimed at a slightly broader appeal without necessarily compromising her professionalism.
