Happy what's left of Christmas. Have been stuffed with food and had a long chat with my uncle who I have not seen in about five or six years.

Claudia sends her greetings. She left her passwords in Bremen and cannot respond

I think it's too late now to wish you all a Merry Christmas. I have a lot of catching-up to do. We spent ten days in Birmingham with Frank's parents and even though I had my netbook with me, I'd left all my passwords on a piece of paper in Bremen and couldn't even access my email account. I'd changed them recently, so I couldn't remember them either.

An enforced rest from the Internet does you good sometimes.

and to you! re: internet cutting down... I have a tablet and since surfing and typing is a bit of a hassle I onky use it sparingly. Instead I spend all my time playing short games and reading ebooks. I have read all John Flanagan books by now and reread all Diane Wynne Jones books. Also started a new series I had never heard of before. Shake and Genie, both your eldest might really appreciate the John Flanagan books.

I'm using a netbook since Frank and I had to send our laptops to my father because both needed some repairing. He is done with them and will send them back this week.

It can't be that early for it... apparently the Australians were celebrating this afternoon, almost 12 hours early!
