I am not often reduced to total silence - except when very annoyed indeed - but this did the trick.

I can't watch it for some legal reasons.

I wish links would show up even before you point at them. Is it this skin or a general bit of bad design?

Wir rocken auf rollen!
I think it is really good of Kaylee's government to protect her from this.

I was just saying to someone else the other day that I had not been to a website recently that forced loud music out as soon as you got to it..! I thought that behaviour had gone the way of Geocities!

I'm impressed with their talent even though it's not my particular genre.

I for my part am only reduced to one single, but piercing question: "Why?"

I'd much rather listen to that than most of the terrible music churned out these days!

No. If those kids look back on this in 10 years, won't they think "Oh my goodness, what's with the rollerblades? Why dancing, rollerblading and obviously faking the singing together?" Some things are not worth it.

If they belong to a culture where that sort of thing is appreciated, we should not put pressure on them to conform to more usual western stereotypes. I don't think they'll live to regret it.

I prefer things to be kept like that (unique or individual), not the homogenised, cynically marketed stuff that they shove in our face now!

I feel left out now. Seems like Germans are the only ones who can't watch it.

They ARE Western. It's German. And I don't intend to pressure them into anything, I just think that if you're a singer you should focus on the singing, not on lip-synching so you can dance around on roller blades with an accordion.

Almost as alarming but without the roller skates are the 'young and cheeky' Bettine und Patricia.

Some things are not worth it. If it propels them to greater fame, they may think it was worth it. Alternately, if they end up being one-hit wonders, then you might be right.

But they do not ... they come from the Bayernwald where their father runs a school of pianoaccordianology.

They play the accordions in time with the music but they don't have any mics, so they are miming to get good sound quality. other than that, they could have performed this live, which makes them a lot more talented than me. (a) I can't play the accordion, (b) I can't roller blade and (c) I would be hopeless trying to sing at the same time.
