Oh man. I suppose that you're dealing with a whole different level of temperatures than we ever experience here in the UK - how cold must it have to have been for icicles to have been forming on the hose whilst it was in use? (I know it says single digits but I presume that that is farenheit which does not mean very much to me)

That is in the sweet spot window of winter temperatures, but yeah, dealing with water would not be pleasant.
