Any believers here? I've always thought that it was total shite but I have family members who believe in all this stuff (and clairvoyancy and psychics, sigh). I am intrigued as to why as I don't see how there can be any scientific basis at all but hey, I am listening if anyone wants to say otherwise.

My mother was an absolutely fanatical believer. As a result (and because I can't see how every single peson born on the same day in the same area can have the same characteristics, I am definitely not a believer.
My Wiccan daughter-in-law is though.

My husband says he knows it's bollocks but then he'll say things like 'typical Saggitarian' (to me), and he'll be quite curious about knowing people's star signs.

Load of bollocks and does my head in. The other day one of my colleagues brought up how the signs have changed because they've added a 13th zodiac (which is old bullshit news anyway I thought) so everyone was reading their new star sign and saying "yeah this is much more me". LOL. It's hard to fathom that people who normally have a good critical level of thinking, just ditch it all in the face of astrology. Although, they also believe in all sorts of silly things like super foods and miracle waters, so I really shouldn't be surprised.

There is, however, a restaurant called Codswallop near Bath.

Not me. Though I must admit I perform some rituals that are associated with some astrology. But I find them to be moe psychological or panpsychism.

In my younger years, when I was presenting as a pagan practitioner, I had a roommate who was a 'professional astrologer'. Interestingly, he was also a devout Roman Catholic seminarian who'd missed taking orders by a hasty marriage. He used his astrologer skills as something of a social worker approach...trying to help his clients figure out their own approach to their issues.
I don't give it any credence. Your midwife has more gravitational effect than any planet at great remove.
