Yeah...Today is a beauty. Yesterday we were buffeted with high winds and a heavy downpour that revived the river that runs through my basement.
It is all cooling, for sure.

Just got back from Aspen so the weather had been amazing. Now today in Oklahoma, it is going to be a beautiful 85°F / 29°C. When I leave for Eureka springs next week it should still be beautiful. Want to observe fall and Halloween there this year.

Woke up this morning to get to my stores to meet some new hires and is wonderfully cool. Sunset is gorgeous. Hopefully it will be another beautiful day. Helping my friend run for city mayor this afternoon. I may end up being pulled in for longer than I want.

Started out the trip to Eureka springs and Holiday Island it was warm with rain mix of sunshine. No tonight we will get somewhat close to freezing. After the Next couple days we will head on to Dallas. It’s supposed to be chilly there.

Ice formation on the birdbath overnight. The tomatoes are goners; I'm gleaning today.

The forecast said lots of rain, but it is actually pretty nice. We had sun and now some drizzle but not too cold. We're at a partly outdoor party and this is just the right side of rain.

Cool sun.
No clouds, so overnight temperatures fall further, taking longer in the morning to rebound to decent temperatures.
We have had 'first frost', as the tomatoes and the impatients are dying off fast.

I got back home and it is below freezing. Enjoyed myself on the trip. In a couple days it’s time to head to Houston Texas for a couple weeks so it will probably be warmer there .

Fairly mild right now, for the time of year. We have the heating on for two hours a day but no real need for more.

Ok! Back from Houston. It’s been in the 50’s. Cold and misty type of rain here. Much warmer in Houston along the coast. Did a few beach trips and had some fun.

The last three days here have been daytime gorgeous. Crystal clear with azure skies and hard, sharp shadows.
I awoke this morning to find most of the rooftops on the homes around me coated with hoarfrost. They were whitish and a mite fuzzy looking.
Almost as though we'd had a light snow.
It took a good while to defrost the auto to go shopping.
I hypothesize that there was enough moisture in the air that when it froze the hard freeze, the transition was quick enough to freeze the fog.
It was strangely pretty and disappeared quickly as the new daylight warmed them.

I am enjoying this colder weather. This weekend it’s supposed to be near freezing and rainy. Trying to decide if I should take a trip Colorado before the new year and would love to see some snow during Christmas. May be awhile before I can travel after that.

-7° here. Plenty of frost. It hasn't snowed since it got below freezing, so no settled snow. It's back down to -7°C and there has been plenty of snow, so the trees are covered and the roads are surrounded by huge banks of snow pushed up by the snowploughs. And sunshine!

Still no appreciable snow here and the temps are mostly hovering around 0 C Well, he hover around the same temperature last night. We did get a light snow dusting and some sleet last night? It’s all melted off this morning. The panhandle got more than we did and even 69 miles north had more. Sunny at the moment of course.
