Before I moved into my new place, but the day I got my keys, my daughters and I went over to check it out. We decided to order Chinese and specified that they bring us chopsticks and napkins since the house was empty. They said they would but they didn't and the delivery guy was very pissed off because he had to go back to the restaurant and pick them up. He even yelled at us! Hey --it wasn't our fault!
Many years ago, before I even knew Frank, I ordered pizza and the delivery guy couldn't find the building. There were several phone calls and when the pizza finally did arrive, after more than an hour, it was almost cold. I should have complained or at least refused to pay the full amount, but I was too shy back then.

I've never had this problem because I never order food to be delivered. If we do have take-away, we always pick it up ourselves.
The sight filled the northern sky; the imensity of it was scarcely conceivable. As if from Heaven itself, great curtains of delicate light hung and trembled. Pale green and rose-pink, and as transparent as the most fragile fabric, and at the bottom edge a profound fiery crimson like the fires of Hell, they swung and shimmered loosely with more grace than the most skillful dancer. ~ Northern Lights
