Better suited for surfing than posting, I think. Sort of halfway between a pc and a smartphone.

I don't get why one should use a tablet. Netbooks are so much better and hardly bigger.

Can you put a net book in your coat pocket?

One of my coats doesn't have any pockets. And usually, I don't even put my phone in my coat pocket, let alone anything bigger. I can put a netbook in my handbag, though.

Well, the difference between males and females. I don't have a handbag.

Does it have a hinge and a keyboard? If it does, it's a netbook. If it does not, it's a tablet.

I think tablets can be different sizes as well.

Mine is 7.9" x 5.3" (20cm x 13.5cm). I got this model so I could carry it around without it being intrusive.

the real difference between a laptop/netbook and ta blet is the system. android is quite different from windows and enables you to do different things with it. I love how I can download apps for free and test all sirts of games and stuff. It's also great for use as an ereader. Reading books on a netbook is much more inconvenient. I get the daily news on y tablet as well.

Systems such as Ubuntu will run on Laptops, Netbooks, Desktops and they are currently finishing work on a Tablet version... Can use the same stuff all round.

I use the iPad when I'm too lazy to walk upstairs to the desktop and want something bigger than my phone.

I can about 95% of the stuff on my ipad that I can do on my desktop. Also I can do things I can't do on my desktop. Also it does not take for ever to log on and is much faster.
