I use both iPad and laptop. It's not possible to do my translation with iPad since it doesn't have keyboard; it's very inconvenient to key in Chinese characters without keyboard. But I read books on iPad. I am not sure whether iPad is better than Kindle. I let my Franek read books on Kindle, he likes the fact that he could 'listen to' the voice reading the book. A good way for him to learn English too

Is that because you're using the Facebook app? I don't use the app because the reviews are poor but otherwise I find Facebook quick and convenient. (My iPad has a 1024 x 768 screen so apart from appearing small it has the same appearance as a laptop. Double clicking the text enlarges it to maximum size so it is very readable.)

I always find it confusing when I use it on other people's computers as it always look so different when covered in adverts.

Yes, but up until somewhat recently, it worked fine. I figured since the app for my (Android) phone worked well, this one would too. Sometimes it will just log me off without warning, or just refresh as I'm going through old posts.
