Pretty to look at but I'm staying inside.

My wife is trying to tempt me to go out for a walk on the Prom but I am resisting temptation. ;D

I had to go out, to the doctor's, the chemist and then the supermarket. But the sunshine made it very pleasant.

My mum said to stay in as the cold is not good for me. I am not sure how it could be bad, but being pampered because you are ill is kinda nice.

She's right, the cold lowers your immune system response.

I read some scientific research that stated that was nonsense. The only problem is the draft which can tense up muscles and stuff, but cold air itself isn't bad for you. What could be bad are the germs etc. in the air, but the concentration of those is higher inside than outside, so that's not a very good argument either.

This is the article I read. It's about stress and not about being cold. And it's in the Daily Mail so it's probably false
