Oh, hardly... I'll be glad when the 26th comes and I can take a day off.

We just came home from Dusseldorf, visiting the Christmas market. I'm very glad to be home, but we had a great time! And I managed to persist pretty much the entire day, so that was great

I well remember Düsseldorf's Weinnachtmarkt when we visited it 15 years. I counted 2,000 stalls/sheds

Hm, I did buy some mulled wine.

I have a great mulled wine recipe: 1 bottle wine, quarter cup sugar, quarter cup liqueur (I use a mix of Triple Sec and lime/ginger liqueur), 1 stick of cinnamon, half a crushed nutmeg, a few cloves, one star anis, a couple of cardamom pods, a few pepper corns, and a small bay leaf. Heat the whole thing up until steam starts to rise --but make sure it doesn't boil. Then enjoy!
Ooops! I forgot the clementines: add the juice of a couple of clementines then one sliced clementine with the peel to the other ingredients.

That sounds rather complex for my limited skills

It's just assembling --easy as long as you already have the ingredients.

I'm afraid I had to skip all the mulled wine and eggnog It was a nice Christmas market, but there were nowhere near 2000 stalls! 200 maybe, but even that is a very generous number I think.
