For no reason whatsoever I bought some anchovies in a tin yesterday. I'd tasted them before, years ago, and loathed them but I dunno, they just called out to me. So I opened them and had a couple. Can't decide how I feel about them. They are too salty and so probably not healthy but it's an interesting flavour .. one I don't know if I am entirely keen on though. There's an underlying flavour that is not great.

They are fish. If there is a creator, fish were meant as a joke that people just misunderstood.
But I haven't tried them so I shouldn't judge. Yet I will. They are vile. All one needs to know is that they are fish. Horrid, slimy, revolting fishies.

Fresh caught and cooked anchovies on bread is pretty tasty. Canned in oil not so much.

I don't think I've tried them, but the smell disgusts me, and plus they just don't look appetizing.

I always have hated Caeser salad dressing, which I discovered is anchovy based. To me it tastes very bitter and unlike what I would classify as food.
