How is everyone doing? I have smoked salmon nibbly things, Elizabeth Shaw mints and am cheerfully drunk

Merry Christmas! I just finished my Christmas Eve service and I'm into the rum and (diet) coke!

Merry Christmas, I've already started on the Christmas spirit, and too much of it, I'm afraid

Merry Christmas to EFfers one and all, and to family members especially furry family members!
I have finished all Moose's smoked salmon thingumabobs. Christmas pudding anyone? I have three - one from work (they delivered a hamper, very nice), one from a care package from Little Miss JoeP, and one from my mother (home made, surely the best).

It's Christmas morning here --almost 8 am. I'm just back from a lovely walk with Liam. It was a great way to deal with a dull headache gotten from last night's rum and diet coke extravaganza.

Our Christmas dinner is almost ready and the table is set with the annual Christmas candle - turkey, stuffing, pigs-in-blankets, Yorkshire puddings, carrots, peas and mashed potatoes. And, of course, a bottle of Beaujolais

Is Liam fully recovered?

Yes he is! Thank goodness! He's also recovered from his neutering, so that's it for a good long while I hope.

He recovered from his neutering? ... That's medically extremely unusual ...

Merry Christmas, everyone! :-D

My goodness, what a crazy day that was. I was so happy to be found! Even crazier the evening before you were due to fly back home from Luton airport and a light aircraft crashed onto the railway line stopping all trains to London.

Yeah, that trip was unusually full of adventure. :-) My bus to Scotland got trapped on the motorway for hours while a large traffic accident was cleared, too.

I still have Christmas puddings (2 of them not even started yet) and Christmas cake (all versions sampled) and mince pies (running dangerously low). Plenty of brandy butter though!
I've managed to finish the potatoes, parsnips and other veg. Still have chicken and 2 kinds of sausages.
