Widely predicted to be Liz Truss. I just .. don't care. I don't like Boris and am happy to see him gone but I don't think either Liz or Rishi will be any better at all. The economy is going to shit and we're all going to be sitting in the dark this winter. Who cares which right wing asshole is running the sinking ship?

Who cares which right wing asshole is running the sinking ship? Well I do, I want an asshole who is realistic and doesn't damage the country irreparably. If I had a choice, it would be Penny Mourdant, ex naval officer, who was closely behind Liz Truss when MPs were voting. Unfortunately, we're going to end up with a blinkered far right idealist who doesn't care two hoots about anyone who isn't a business entrepreneur. |
