Just one. Where are you going?

About 150 years into the future, just to see how things are working out.

I think I'd go to the beginning of the universe, just to see what happened

If so, you would be fried instantly in the searing heat. I would go the see Jesus' death on the cross.

When I was in primary school round about 1950 we had a school magazine and in one of the articles a boy speculated on what it might be like in the year 2000. He thought that there could be a time machine and suggested that it might be possible to go back and watch the crucifixion.

Very boringly I would go backwards to renaissance Italy and have afternoon tea with Niccolo Machiavelli or I'd like to share a vodka with the lads responsible for the execution of the Russian tsar - so many questions I'd like to ask.

all of space and time and you'd go there? Hmph. Reminds me of Kryten when asked where he'd go if he had a time machine and he said 'a week last Thursday'

They are two periods of history (along with the reign of Caesar Augustus ) which fascinate me.

I used to be really interested in the Russian Revolution when I was younger .. the French too. But still ... ALL of time and space . Think of the possibilities! If I didn't go to the beginning of the universe I'd like to go to its end. It fascinates me that the universe was and then will not be any longer .. that is definite fact, however it came about. I want to know how.

I assume this works in the same way as the genie wishes and we can't just go to the TARDIS factory and get our own one.

It's like buying a Morgan car, there's a six month waiting list

I think I could cope with a six month wait for a time machine... ...I could ask them to deliver it to now, as well. To paraphrase Spock, "His pattern indicates three-dimensional thinking."

No, there's always a six month waiting list, you have to travel forward in time to collect it.

I would get the time machine and then go back six months to order it... ...I can see this rapidly turning into a Bill and Ted ending.

I don't know. If I had to say it, I'd go for a party in the Victorian era, but if I could leave the decision up to the Doctor, I'd let him. Somewhere beautiful with nice and happy people might be nice, whatever the time.

There's always a danger that you would end up in a time and place where you couldn't understand a word that was being said.

Back to make an investment in a budding Coca-Cola company. By now, I'd be fabulously wealthy and could host EF on my own servers, and fly us all in for moots every month or so.

1952 and a summer Saturday would be spent at Evercreech Junction railway station, on the Somerset & Dorset. All that activity and wonderful steam!
