My mother and father were responsible for my existence. I still find that hard to comprehend

I think in most cases people don't want to think about such things!

So you are Rh positive and have at least one older sibling?

Assuming that question was directed at me, I have two older siblings.

I just looked up some stuff about that. As it was 40 years ago I'd never really thought much about it. Interesting to see something about it. The stuff I read was only about a Rhesus negative mother (mummy) and positive child (me). Didn't see anything about an older sibling being responsible though. Can I sue them over it?

The mother develops antibodies from the first child, and these can affect the second. Or third. Namely you!

Colton was also early, though I don't recall exactly how much. For the girls, Mrs Shake went 37 weeks, which, for twins, is considered full-term. And they were 6 lbs 2 oz (~2.8 kg), and 6 lbs 9 oz (~3 kg), respectively.

I'm B+, which I find ironic.

I am also anemic, which is non-iron-ic.

I'm B+, which I find ironic. I see your point. But I suspect this was just a set-up for: I am also anemic, which is non-iron-ic. *groan*

Actually, it wasn't a set up, I thought of the second one after posting the first one... I have always had the grumpy cat approach to B+

On the other hand, even though you are not as awesome, your blood type is very rare and needed a lot. Especially for plasma donation. Go out and donate!

All this talk about blood donation keeps bringing up Tony Hancock in my head. "You're Rhesus positive" "Rhesus?!? They're monkeys, aren't they? How dare you!" ...and, of course... "A pint? Why, that's nearly an armful!"
