it does depend a lot on what sauce you are putting on which type of pasta you should use and is best. But because my fave two sauces for pasta I prefer best on spaghetti, I'll go with spaghetti.

I love spaghetti but I nearly choked on it once so am a bit wary of it now. I do still eat it sometimes but tend to buy pasta spirals or tubes

I think my favorite is galletti, but I love me some fettuccine rigate as well.

I like lasagna, but I haven't had pasta in months so I'm not the best judge.

Gnocchi, if that's technically a pasta. The kind I have the most is whole wheat spaghetti.

I was gonna include gnocci but was not sure if it counted or not .. doesn't it have a lot of potato in it?

Yeah, it's basically a kind of potato dumpling, but I usually see it included in lists of types of pasta.

I love ravioli. As a student in Leiden, Monday would be my ravioli day as I was too tired to really cook on Monday (was a long day of classes). Even now I have a tin in my cupboard for those moments, though I hardly ever eat it. I like lasagne with spinach a lot as well, but I have no means of making it.

I am undecided between spaghetti and the spirally one. So much so, that when I make a sauce, I have one of them initially with it and the other the next day with leftover sauce.

Which one do you have first?

Usually the spaghetti. Which means it wins?

Yep, think so. Cos that is the one you have with your pasta sauce nice and fresh and when you are fresh to eating it.

But then pasta sauce is a little like a nice vegetable soup, it tastes more... just more the next day when the herbs and spices have had time overnight to saturate it better...

Depends on the pasta sauce of course. Mine are usually better fresh and eaten right away. But a thick tomato sauce can definitely get better with age. But you are alse eating it second night in a row so maybe it's more boring?

Not really. I think five in a row might get boring, though.

I love lasagna, but have recently discovered pastitio, a Greek pasta dish which is fantastic!
