The way she asks that first question is particularly funny. And the look on her face. She clearly thinks she trumped him there with question number one.

She just can't get past it at all, he has to keep pointing out that he is a biblical scholar, but all she sees is a Muslim. Totally cringeworthy. I felt embarrassed for humankind.

I couldn't manage to listen after four minutes Does that mean you missed the bit where she accused him of hiding the truth of his religion and he pointed out that on page 2 of his book he tells everyone he is a muslim and every interview he has done has also mentioned the same thing ?

I saw him on The Daily Show and did not hear then that he was a Muslim (I hadn't heard of him before and was curious as to his perspective so was listening for a clue), but I could have just missed it. Though that may not count as a proper interview anyway, as it it a satire show.

To be fair, he actually says in most interviews his bio is reported.
I also loved her analogy where she said it would be like a Democrat writing a book about Reagan. And he said no, it would be like a Democrat who had a degree in Reagan and had stuied Reagan for 20 years writing a book. Oh my god cringeworthy stuff.

Knowing what to expect from your comments, I must say I like his very firm replies
This. Is. What. I. Do. It's. My. JOB. You. Stupid. Woman. (ok he only thought that last bit)

This changes everything: "I've interviewed scholars" she says. Well that's all right then. Although I wonder if she knows what a scholar is?

I don't dare contemplate what she thinks because I am sure I could not comprehend that mind in any way, shape or form. I guess she don't trust Muslims though.

Did you catch the part where she says something about "people and scholars"? I guess scholars must not be people.
