No one is talking about swimming, Fr G, one does not have to swim in a swimming costume.

942 918 Yes and to you! I'm taking the girls to an indoor playground. I'm hoping they run/crawl themselves ragged.

I saw my daughter for the last time before she has her baby. Right now baby is in breach position, so we're all hoping it will turn in the next month

942 917 I hope so too. I've been told most babies do. Does she know what she wants for the birth? At home or at a hospital?

She's high risk so it will be a hospital birth. She wants it as natural as possible though. The baby was head down until just a couple of weeks ago. Laurence is at 35+ weeks now, so it's harder for baby to turn on its own. But we're hoping!

942 916 Why are babies in the breach position until late pregnancy? Is this a design fault?

Our kitchen was delivered yesterday. Finally! Moving had been tough.

I remember moving 35 years ago, moving was stressful and sorting everything out afterwards was exhausting.

Younger sister did it too, but she had loads of space right up until the end so she kept turning about every other day until one of the last weeks. Both of them decided 40 weeks wasn't good enough though and stuck around for 8 and 9 days longer, respectively.

942 905 I rather liked moving. The excitement of a new place and getting rid of old stuff you'd otherwise keep around because it's too much work to sort out and bring to the tip.

Some people say that moving home is the most stressful experience that we can undergo ... not totally sold on that but I do recall that the last time I moved actual home (rather than parsonage) I came out with about six different forms of excema, which is often triggered by stress.

Moving itself can be a pain, but I really like living in different places. In fact, in my whole life, I've never lived in one place longer than 5 years.

A few minutes ago, I had food stuck in my throat and couldn't even swallow a sip of water. I gave my throat reflexes a few minutes and then Pat called 111 (the halfway house between doctor and emergency services) because it was obviously not going to clear on its own. "Sorry, we're very busy," they replied, "try online, it will be quicker." Meanwhile a large burp dislodged the food and I could swallow again. I was shaken but next time I think I'll give 111 a miss.
Afterwards, I went through the online questions 111.nhs.uk ask in such situations just to see what their recommendations would have been. "Has one leg suddenly become weak in the last 7 days?" they asked. Eventually, they got around to suggesting I called my doctor. Hmph.

942 892 I had an MRI scan a few days ago and received the results this morning. I have compression between the 5th and 6th vertebrae which was probably the cause of the pain I had in my right arm earlier this year. The pain has now gone but I have to do exercises, avoid DIY and be careful when gardening for the next three months. That's fine by me On the plus side, my neck is otherwise in very good condition compared with men of my age (compared with men of my age who have neck scans).
