There's only one person who would get away with it, I reckon.

Yes Shake, it does.

Interesting. Btw, I just gave you another karma point so you should be back to where you were before getting smote (smitten? smited?).

I smote WG once, but just 'cause he asked for it! No harm or offense meant by it.

We have friends who had a dog that they named Karma.
"Come here, Karma! Good Karma!"

I have not yesterday, nor have I ever, smited anyone.
Smited. Smoted. Smate. Smitten. Smote.
Spellcheck doesn't like that word.

I have just exalted you, Jo. I'd never smite you.

I only smote WG because he insisted on it and it "made me feel gooder"

I smote someone on zero once to see if it would go negative and it did. But I later exalted him.

I have not yesterday, nor have I ever, smited anyone. Smited. Smoted. Smate. Smitten. Smote. Spellcheck doesn't like that word. Smited, Smoted and Smate fail spell-check here. Smitten and Smote are good, as I would have expected. (On first attempt I typed "speelchekc")

I smote someone on zero once to see if it would go negative and it did. But I later exalted him. So you were just experimenting.

My dictionary gives smote and smitten as the past tense and past participle but it also allows smit as an archaic or poetic variants of both these.
I smote him. I smit him. He was smitten. He was smit.

Is that why you smote someone?

Post by tangent on Dec 13, 2012 22:42:33 GMT
It was, yes, I was just experimenting. But that was a long time ago soon after Jo had started the forum. I since learnt that administrators can set a person's karma to any number they like (between -8,388,608 to +8,388,608, see this profile).

That is how I saw who smote me. I'd never before checked to see who exalted or smoted anyone

You've been getting exalted more, though since you have been smitten, don't you?
