We're in for a very cold week, cold that is by our standards.

It's supposed to be getting very cold here the next few days. Am so over this winter

We're due for some snow tomorrow, not very much though. Maybe a light sprinkling.

I'm so not a big fan of March. This morning it was cold and windy at -10C. The snow is filthy --brown with dirt and stones, yellow with dog pee. It usually gets a bit above freezing during the day but then freezes solid at night so the ice is bumpy and irregular. You'd think it would be spring since the equinox is this month, but there's not a hint of new growth, no buds on the trees or shoots. Yes, it's starting to get lighter, but in general it's a huge deception.

It looks as though it might be dry today. Maybe.
Yesterday, we started with a light rain, but about midday, the clouds opened over my place and the sun warmed up the balcony. The view from the balcony was interesting, watching the huge banks of clouds to the south moving west to east, like a long, slow freight train. I could see that several miles to the south of me, it was prolly raining fairly steady. Huge banks of drama clouds.

We've had snow flurries for a couple of days but nothing major significant.

We have highs slightly above freezing for the next week or so. I'm encouraged!

A bright sunshiny day. Murray is crapped out on the crowbar. I've puttered in the garden.
My day started with my scraping ice off the windshield and waiting for the car to warm enough to defrost the rest.
I certainly cannot claim that 'last frost' has come.

Chilly out but it’s getting warmer. I hate the ”March” to hot hot summers. In a month we will be really warm.

Went for a walk in my sister's part of Essex yesterday - lots and lots of daffodils, and crocuses, and more.

It's definitely getting warmer here. I may have to put away my winter coat until later in the year. A bit dull and wet though.

It's sunny today. Was raining when I arrived back in Finland yesterday, which means that lots of the thin layers of snow have been melted and washed away. The thicker areas and piles are all still there!
It does mean that when it's below freezing in the mornings, some places can be treacherously slippery.

We had three days of gardening weather. Sunny and warm (up to 60F/16C). They told us it was to rain yesterday, then, when it dawned clear and sunny, they told us it would rain by evening. The evening had clouds, but still warm...and the doors stood open and cats were happy. I felt we got a bonus day. This morning it was still dry at sunrise, but it started raining shortly thereafter. It is wet again.

Mini-Miisa, who is currently working as a cashier at Lohja's 24-hour supermarket, had a shift starting at 06:15 this morning. About half way through dinner last night someone remembered that the clocks were changing ... so even less sleep possible! But she made it.

Oh, and the weather: more snow. Even though most of it had melted last week.
