We've finally got more autumnal weather. Beautiful and sunny day but cool and chilly night. Should be warming up again to 27 C this week though.

It's been raining for the last few days, with more to come tomorrow. The good news is that almost all the snow is gone! I've been wearing my shoes instead of my boots for the past week!

Well the weather today is worth talking about. Firstly, this morning it was already 20 C at 7:30. In April! It was a beautiful and warm day with a lovely warm breeze and shorts and tshirt weather. Then in the late afternoon massive dark clouds just rolled in and a torrent of rain came down. Then it was only 17 C after. Looked like night had come two hours early. Was pretty awesome to see. And we had a nice rainbow after. The sun was trying to peek through the thick cloud and looked post apocolypic.

Sounds lovely. We had beautiful sunshine all day, with the temperature up to 18°C or 19°C. It was gorgeous.

It was lovely here - sunny, a bit of wind. I don't know the actual temperature but the forecast said 23°. The same forecast says 13° for tomorrow!  |

It was a beautiful day to be walking around the church with palms! And tomorrow it's supposed to go up to 25C! Then back to the usual 0-10 temperatures.

16 C today but it will be colder again.
The Sami are worried about the warmer climate. It freezes and thaws and freezes again, and the snow gets so hard and compact that the reindeers can't find the snow lichen which they live on.

We had a beautiful warm weekend: it got up to 70 (21 C) on Saturday and a friend and I took a walk around a lake. Then last night it snowed! I was surprised that it amounted to much, because it started out so slushy, but it's still on the ground and is making all the trees so beautiful this morning. And because it's still pretty warm, the roads were clear before I drove into work. :-)

A 'what's the weather like' thread where I can confound half of you with poor attempts to describe the temperature, I'm sure.
And, to impart what it is usually like here in the Dampshires.
It's damp.
Again.
(We have three seasons here in Puddle City and throughout the wider Dampshires....Those seasons are: Windy Rain, Cold Rain, Warm Rain, and Road Construction. Warm Rain just began.)

I need some rain. My plants are wilting. I have a watering can. And a rainwater barrel which I fill it from. Also a hose, but haven't felt the need to get that out of the shed yet this year. |

Was foggy this morning but turned into a stunning Autumn day. I went for a walk in the Carlton Gardens during my lunch break and it was gorgeous. The looong weekend is looking pretty decent ahead of us too. I sure hope so becasue I'm planning on spending lots of time outdoors hiking in the High Country.

It feels miserable here becaise it's cold and damp and windy. I hurt my hand again because it is cold and my skin gets too dry and vulnerable,so my knuckles get tiny cuts and wounds from pretty much anything. I should wear gloves again.
