Feeling great! In a relatively tight financial situation at the moment, since I don't have a job, but otherwise in perfect condition. How about you? Doing well, thanks, mainly looking after people - family and friends - but I'm fairly relaxed. |

Cold here, and windy. I spent most of the day colouring. Did go out for breakfast this morning with a couple friends though. I had chilli scrambled eggs on black brioche bread. That was funny. And then DG and I shared the waffles cos they looked way too tasty to not try them. They were superb.

Nice day today, so far. Quite humid, but not very hot at the moment --only 20C. We're looking at hotter temperatures and thunderstorms for the afternoon though.

Still cold here. Waiting for winter to be over. But I comforted myself today with the thought that if I were sitll in NL, and it was middle of January, it would be horrendously worse and much, much darker. That cheered me up some. Shows how confusing maps can be. I always thought that Australia was farther south than it is and not nearer to the equator than the Netherlands. Must be nice to have less extremes at both ends of the seasons. |
