"Border Terrier" is the breed? So, they were originally bred for vermin hunting (ratters)? It's a distinctly nice look, what with the scruffy face (which I like, being of scruffy face and all) and the 'grizzle over gold' fur. And, yes, "kyoot". It looks like it's a medium-sized dog.
Like tangent, I'm not generally a dog person, but I associate that with living in situation I consider only acceptable for tiny dogs, which I don't like. When I get more room, I'd distinctly like to have corgi. Chickens, burros, barn cats and a corgi....an exurban idyll.

It's smaller than a corgi, but with longer legs. Yes, ratters, but the working dog trials are mostly with foxes.

And the snippet Google displays includes " Still No results found for "thrice scritched". Is this subforum invisible to Google?"

Figures it shows your post.
Dogs fine. Enjoying each others' company a lot, I think.

Apparently scritched is one of the longest words in English of one syllable too.

That's odd. I read it as two.

Hast thou scritchédst the dog, my liege? Yes, definitely two syllables.

And that's lie-ge...I assume pronounced 'LYE-gee'. Right?

More scrit-ched than scritc-ed, forsooth!

Tis "scritchd". One vowel sound, one syllable.

The penguin and the soft fruit sweetie are correct. It's one syllable.
Strengths is another contender for long one-syllable words.
Whereas "monosyllabic" isn't, not quite.

Oh. Um... sorry. We keep having that problem with our piggies. All of them seem to be "he" to others.

I shall have to set up a page for such things, similar to Googlewhack pages!

Because this thread had not been updated in some time, it sent me to page one... I thought another puppy was on the way!

Because this thread had not been updated in some time, it sent me to page one. Is that why it sometimes sends me to page one? I thought it was random.
