My youngest daughter has been having tummy troubles all weekend. Not a great way to spend your days off.

I was just about to close my Dutch bank account after having transferred all the money to my Aussie account, only to find out that I needed to have a minimum of 20 euro in the account to close it!
Fortunately, Ronald still had his so he transferred me the money and then I closed it and requested it be transferred back to him. How dumb!

I'm guessing she loves eye contact but we cannot imagine what babies are thinking when they are only a few days old.

944 767 That sounds cute. I think they don't see much at this stage, but that changes. I think I might have gastritis.

944 762 I have been staring into the eyes of my poor darling kitty Gilbert. He has an ulcer and conjunctivitis and we have to give him drops. He's so miserable and getting very suspicious of us as we're giving him drops four times a day.

Sorry to hear about your kitty, RB. It's hard to see them in pain and it's even harder that the thing you're doing to help is interpreted by them as making it worse!

In terms of Mordorian culture it is a challenging news item as, of course, we see the One Ring as having been utterly benign - being merely the ring of office of the person for the time being holding the role of Sauron, to which he or she is elected for a four-year term of office. You should not trust other versions of Mordorian history which are wholly unrealiable.
We have - by the way - just elected a new Sauron, a sweet lady called Gladwys Scmalklak Cartington-Bonner. She is Sauron 456th. Her previous accomplishments include being Professor of Needlework at the University of South Rhun, a girls' school headteacher and a tour of duty in the Glorious Mordorian 3rd Death Marines (as a combat seamstress).
