North Wales, as shown on Google Maps. It's about half way from Reading to Whitehaven.

Google maps convey little to my mind.

Well, I can't think of any clearer way to show it than a map of the country with a big marker on it!

I suspect I'd make a lousy driver I'm an excellent driver, and I have reason to suspect I'd make a pretty decent pilot.

My dad is an excellent driver and he loves it as well. He can't walk much these days, he has to take the car just to get out of the village to take the dog for a walk.

I like flying on my combat helicopter game, but I think I'd struggle with the being off the ground bit in real life.

Looking at the thread title, I'm reminded that today is my Friday!
Colton has a half day at school tomorrow, so the girls are off. Same thing for Monday.

It's Friday again. I think I will celebrate with a beverage.

Is it one of your gerbils's or just a random one?

I'm still ill, but for the first time in a week I'm sitting up straight for a long period of time. At least some sort of progress. Lost my voice though. Ah well, don't need it on this Friday night.

Is it one of your gerbils's or just a random one? A baby. At least one of our gerbils must have had babies.

Lots of people I know either are sick or are just getting over something. I hope I don't catch it. We're coming up to a very busy time at church.

I was pretty down for the count with high fevers for 2 days and am now moving into week 2 of being ill. At least I can sit up today. I couldn't yesterday.

I called the doctor this morning and she said that the current flu that's going around is a long, nasty one. Yay. Thankfully I only get this ill once every so many years. Some people get this more than once a year.... >_<

I'm meeting Genie at the Cardiff railway station in the afternoon on May 31st. We're still open about where to go from there. Juju, of course we want to come and see you. Are you open to putting us up, or should we be looking into hotel options? And the offer still stands for you to join us as we drive around the UK. We can put you up! You'll have to take us as you find us - we bought the house last year from an elderly couple and there's a LOT to do still (understatement), but you are very welcome. We may not have a kitchen at that point, but hey ho. My son (the neat freak) has offered his room, and we have mattresses and blow up beds. And my cooking! (I like cooking for people) . Will you get any time to see the area at all? It's very beautiful.
