I called the doctor this morning and she said that the current flu that's going around is a long, nasty one. Yay. Thankfully I only get this ill once every so many years. There was a bug going round Marple four years ago that was really nasty. We both got it (although Deborah escaped) and couldn't go out of the house for two weeks. Eventually, we ran out of food and had to go shopping but the flu laid us both low for two months. Some people found that it affected their liver as though they were alcoholics. |

It's simply not good enough! Someone will have to check every half hour for the rest of time! ...Who on here doesn't need any sleep? -- Must have been a deeper problem at the time as four different servers were refusing connections. |

Yesterday we were watching a programme on TV. It was new and you could download an app to play along. Only they didn't think so many people would want to participate, so it overloaded before the show even started |

Sounds like typical sloppy design, which people don't seem to do well these days. It would have only taken someone to plan ahead a tiny bit just in case, but it's so much easier to just not care and save a tiny amount of money!

I think it will cost them viewers. The quiz wasn't all that interesting and being able to play along yourself was what should have kept people at it.
