Yes, watching a show that is on at 8.30. Until then I am trying to keep myself from getting too bored.

I spent Friday evening travelling from Wokingham to Cheltenham. On towards Wrexham in North Wales in the morning. Currently unable to sleep and aching a fair bit. Am offloading a small amount of stuff here and even more in Wales, but my mum bought me a cuddly penguin and a fleecy blanket with penguins on. Fortunately, they are not heavy.

Wrecsam, as the Welsh call it.

Welsh names for towns are quite unusual. Original Welsh names were often phonetically translated by the English; Caerdydd becoming Cardiff for example (the double 'd' is pronounced 'th'). Some names are completely different: Swansea is referred to as Abertawe in Welsh - Swansea was the name given to it by the Vikings and not what the Welsh themselves use. Some, like Wrecsam, are phonetically translated from English to Welsh. The Welsh do that a lot if they don't have a Welsh word for something, so 'trolley' becomes 'troli', 'shop' becomes 'siop', bike becomes 'beic' and so on.

I'd heard the Welsh for television was telewele but Google says it's teledu. The word 'telewele' does exist but I can't find the meaning of it.

It is teledu (pronounced TeLEDi). I've never heard of telewele - I think someone was having you on.

My cats just turned on my TV. Yet another thing they learned to do without my permission... >_<

Am in bed in another different house today in North Wales. Very tired after being awake in middle of the night and 3 hour motorbike journey. Will be longest ride in one stint for some time. It was okay, but starting to ache a fair bit.

That's quite good going, Google thinks it should take 3.5 hrs by car.

That's cool! The only thing my cats can do is sit on my computer... Mine are very good at that too. And opening doors, turning on lights... that or I have a ghost who does it for them.

That's quite good going, Google thinks it should take 3.5 hrs by car. SatNav says it's 4:25 to go home, which is why I have planned a break half-way. I stopped over at my sister's home last night so was a fair bit nearer. I am always surprised when I calculate average speed to find it comes out at well under 40 mph.

Slightly less than a third of the 1200+ miles I did Saturday/Sunday, in about 20.5 hours.
