I am usually tired after work so I often don't even turn on the computer or tablet. Just watchtv mindlessly.

We're remodeling/decorating parts of our house that we didn't do before we moved in in 2011. So I am being general contractor. Plus lots of volunteer work at my church and a non-profit group for which I'm the webmaster and on various committees. I check in here, but am often too busy to actually post anything!

I keep meaning to go back to Buffy at some point soon, but am currently trying to get through several series of Angel, many of which episodes I've not seen, especially the later series. Is envious of you having episodes of Angel you haven't seen. Angel was my gateway drug into the Whedonverse. |

Scrolling back at page 1, I noticed a reference to Person of Interest. Someone was recently telling me that I'd probably like that show. Too bad I work 4 nights a week and have no time for TV.

I like it. It started here about three weeks ago and have since watched all the 40+ episodes available so far. I suspect much of the appeal for me is for very narrow, personal reasons that might not apply to everyone, rather than the action or tech aspects that might be a pull for others, but I also do think it gets noticed a lot less than it deserves.
I hardly ever watch "live" tv any more, it is always either VCR'd, Netflixed or otherwise online.

They have started advertising it on the little box in the corner of the on-demand stuff on my TV. I'd be interested in seeing a proper episode as the advert does not give a very good impression of it, I suspect, but I'm not paying the extra money to get hold of all the extra content. |

Does it not air on any normal channel there atm? It's probably on one of the subscription channels, but I don't have any of them. These days there's so little worth watching that I barely watch anything on TV at all. |

Job situation is stable right now. Looks like it was all a bluff to threaten and scare me away and fortuantely I didn't fall for it. So there was no immediate firings. The two remaining options are they try to fire me in the correct way which takes time and might not result in my firing or they don't try at all. Considering the poor case they would have against me I guess they probably won't bother for now - though of course you never know. But then we've had more changes with a new director starting last week who said in his introduction to us that things are pretty bad at the moment and most of it not our fault.
