I love the idea of bananas, they are the perfect fruit and snack. But unfortunately I used them as pregnancy breakfast (for months I would throw up whatever I first ate and bananas are as easy coming up as they go down), so now I can't eat or smell them without gagging.

I have that reaction already. The smell of them alone is enough for me to start gagging!

In the mid 70s I was on board a ship crossing the North Atlantic in the winter. The ship was flat bottomed, and the weather was quite...boisterous. I was sharing a compartment with about 40 other guys, and there were only two of us that weren't adversely affected by motion sickness. Every one else was tied into their bunks with a helmet next to their heads to throw up in. The two of us that were upright spent the days going around emptying helmets, cleaning guys up, and generally serving as nurses. The first day I felt quite noble and self-sacrificing. The second day, not so much. The third day I walked around eating bananas and offering them to the downtrodden, ducking in time to avoid the projectile vomit. A good time was had.
I love bananas. Plain, sliced on cereal, or on vanilla ice cream with hot fudge. Yum!

Bananas on bread? I've never tried it before. I like bananas. In fact I am going to get one now. Oh boy you need to fix that right away! You need to get some bread, spread it with peanut butter and slice your banana on top. Alternatively you can use nutella instead of peanut butter. Or both! My brother loves to have crepes with nutella, banana and sweet condensed milk.

I don't have any sweet tooth, so I can skip nutella.

I think I will have a banana right now and then do some shopping. Though I need to figure out what to get depending on what we'll have for dinner. Not in the mood for cooking.

I eat a lot of bananas. A favourite light lunch would be a piece of cheese, a banana, and some bread or possibly cream crackers.

Say, Kaylee...Have you tried bananas with your cavies, yet? I ask because my house bunnies absolutely loooooooved banana coins (sliced across the fruit at intervals to produce 'coins'). One was such a slave to bananas that she was easily duped back into her in-house cage with a banana coin. It got so that she'd go to her cage in hopes of getting a banana coin reward. The nice thing about a banana with a coin sliced off...it will 'heal over' and you can cut another hours and hours later (the next day, even). Make sure you take the peel off; you don't know what they have sprayed on that.
