It's not about who they vote for.. for all I know loads of young people who have registered to vote might vote for Trump. It's about inciting them to register and go out to vote.

And yes, we do have graphs that will tell people where their allegiances lie. No, most people of whatever age will not use them. Get people registered, let them read the news or look on google or anything else. Just get everyone voting.

"Why don't they care if their celeb doesn't do it for them?" This sentence I did not understand You have entered the world of 'celebrity endorsement'. It is a long established and highly honored activity in all manner of aspects of American society. Since we have no royalty, we create nitwits to fill those voids. What is an 'online influencer' other than an artificially created 'celebrity'? If you don't think of other social and political concerns except when the celebrity which you idolize tells you it is 'important', it's important. Whether mindless celebrity followers will actually follow through to effectively participate in the actual political system by registering and then...voting, well, that's another thing entirely. Look at the average turnout of _registered_ voters turn out to vote for the typical election. It usually runs less than 50%. I don't know what the estimated percentage of eligible citizens who register is, but it isn't high. This means that, in an average election, less than a quarter of the eligible voters actually make the decisions. This is democracy. Most people don't give a shit, until it negatively affects them personally. Then they're pissed. I think it enormously funny how the Right tries to shame athletes and media types from engaging in politics, unless, of course, you agree with their positions...like Kid Rock or Hulk Hogan. Then, it's just fine.
Also, please note how both Taylor Swift and Caitlin Clark have responded to the implied misogyny of the Trump/Vance campaign positions...and urged research and registration.
Watch for hideously egregious acts of hypocrisy upon the part of the Trump campaign and the MAGA activists.

"Then they're pissed." In American lexicon, 'pissed' is 'angry to the point of expressing it aloud'. It may well be because the speaker also aligns with the British meaning of 'pissed'. The lubricant of social interaction.

And, don't forget.... Donald J Trump thinks that every word he speaks is the ultimate in celebrity endorsements.
He thinks he is the ultimate celebrity.
