Yes ... I have to say some of the temperatures mentioned in recent posts disturb me. And I like a cooler house than say Miisa, who would be distinctly horrified.

943 200 Can you turn the heat up in their rooms? Nope, according to our plumber the radiators are actually too small to heat the rooms. It is no problem in our own bedroom since we always have our window opened at a small crack, but for the kids it's a bit cold. We're aiming for 16 or 17 degrees Celsius there.

I have been given new exercises to cure my back pain. Apparently, my posture is terrible.

943 185 Hehehe, I've got some of those as well. I don't always do the exercises though.

I got out my belly dance gear this morning. I haven't done a single move in months, but I think I might get back to it. I have to do it only on the weekends when I don't have my dog because once I start dancing, he always tries to hump me... (the most action I've had in years...)

There we are then: I've had the Pfizer anti-Covid vaccination at the hands of a brisk but charming military doctor of 6 Hero Medical Rgt., of the the Glorious Morodorian Defence Service (motto: Always get your defence in first). So in the fulness of time I will have a degree of protection from a very nasty ailment indeed.

Lucky --it will probably be months before I get vaccinated. Canada is waaaay behind many other countries on getting enough of the vaccine.

943 181 In the end that may turn out to be a blessing in disguise. How is the situation with infections and deaths in Canada?

Last count, 823,000 cases of Covid and 21,228 deaths in Canada. I live in Montreal which is one of the worse cities for infections, with 100,680 cases so far and 4,441 deaths.

You might think Montreal has a high number of cases but Greater Manchester, where I live, has three times as many cases and twice as many deaths per head of population.

I was woken up very early this morning but I'm pretty sure it was a combination of cat, central heating noises, and have slept during the day on Tuesday. I'm pretty sure no toddlers were involved.

943 175 Isn't that what you pay her for? 943 172 Feel free to pay mine to wake you... Though I doubt she'd need payment. She did pretty well without it last night. Number Two also felt inclined to join. Husband slept through it all.

943 171 In our case it would be paying him. And I wish it would take that. The little guy has never been the best sleeper. It is generally better than it used to be, as in he doesn't wake me up every 60 to 90 minutes anymore.
